Nauders am Reschenpass is in the heart of the magic Rhaetan triangle, at the point of intersection of three countries (A/CH/I), embedded in a wide high plateau with its famous landmark, the Reschensee (Lake Reschen). Nauders is located at a sea level of 1,365 m north of the Reschenpass. One of the place's landmarks is the Castle Naudersberg. The old seat of a court shows the importance of the place on the old trading route over the Reschenpass. A number of other historical buildings such as, for example, the fortress Finstermünz as well as the landmarked houses in the town center emphasize the special flair of Nauders spreading the charm of the centuries.

The first-class ski-region “Bergkastel” that was modernized in the last years offers plenty of far view and it is a pearl among the top ski-regions in Tyrol.
